The Tan Company, started by Todd Beckman, a St. Louis native, opened its doors in February of 1994, starting with two average sized salons. In November of that year, the company introduced its first superstore concept, providing multiple levels of tanning, which became an instant success!
By the beginning of 2008, the Tan Company has grown to over 70 world class locations in 13 states with plans to expand even further in the future!
But one thing has not changed, Todd Beckman's passion and dedication to providing our guests with "5 Star" tanning facilities, world-class skin care products in the cleanest tanning environment in the country. With over 40 locations in the St. Louis area, we have a location convenient for you. We offer up to 5 different levels of tanning as well as the UV-Free Mystic Tan.
